Advanced Canyoning in the Blue Mountains
Our long day canyons run from November to March. All you need to do is dress for the weather, bring running shoes that can get wet, swimwear, 1.5 litres of water and a waterproof camera. We provide a gourmet lunch and all equipment on all our long day canyons. We can also provide you with a courtesy waterproof camera (please ask at time of booking).
Experience required
Please note that if you would like to undertake an advanced canyon you must talk to us first so we can ensure it’s appropriate for you.
The following canyons require abseiling and canyoning experience.
You must be able to:
Easily swim 100 metres.
Carry a 10kg backpack for up to 10 hours over rough tracks and creek/canyon beds.
Move safely up and down small cliffs as well as over smooth slippery rocks and boulders.
Demonstrate a high level of fitness and endurance.
